Is there any way that this driver can be included in the next Gobo release by default? From what I have read it supports some of the most popular wireless equipment around the world. And on a personal basis, the only 2 distros that I have found to more or less work by default with this driver are Freespire and Puppy. My preference is Gobo but I can not plugin to a wired line at this time.
A secondary thought is to take a look at how Puppy Linux sets up networking. I don't think they install this driver by default, but I can get my wireless network running with just a few clicks in Puppy after the kernel recognizes the needed driver. (Which is supposed to be a part of the latest kernels.)
